The WEG Feature Film Lab is a 6 week Lab Fellowship led by award-winning producer and talent manager Christian Campagnola. It is produced in partnership with the Untitled Ladies Script Club, a Los Angeles-based arts nonprofit organization which aims to provide an inclusive and encouraging community for female-identifying and non-binary screenwriters to learn, collaborate, and build lasting relationships in the entertainment industry.
During the six week fellowship, fellows receive one-on-one mentoring from Campagnola and prepare for a live Pitch competition where fellows will have an opportunity to pitch their projects to a distinguished panel of funders, distributors, and producers in front of a live audience.
Lab fellows will also be mentored by visiting industry guests in preparation for their pitches during the six week lab. Additionally, they will be introduced to the distinguished Pitch panelists to discuss their individual work face to face.
The WEG Feature Film Lab seeks not only to prepare participants to engage leading industry stakeholders with their own work, but also to celebrate the revolutionary narrative/scripted work currently being produced in South Florida.
The WEG Feature Film Lab is open to any and all current residents of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe Counties. Next application cycle to be announced soon.
